Types of Memory:
- Sensory Memory: Lasts 0.2-4 seconds.
- Short-term Memory (STM): Limited capacity (7 ± 2 items), lasts up to minutes or hours.
- Long-term Memory (LTM): Unlimited capacity, can last permanently.
Memory Types by Content:
- Declarative Memory: Explicit memories of events and facts.
- Episodic Memory: Personal experiences in unique contexts.
- Procedural Memory: Implicit memories of skills and habits.
